BUTTERMILK SODA BREAD
Ingredients
300g Soft Roll flour Mix1 tsp sea salt1 tsp bicarbonate of soda, 200ml milk, juice of half a lemon, 2 tsp honey (optional)1 tablespoon of oil (optional)

STEP 1
Heat oven to 200C/180C fan/gas 6 or use an air fryer at 200C. - Mix together the flour, salt in a bowl. You can add fresh or dried herbs.

Mix together the milk and lemon juice and bicarb, stir and leave for a few minutes till it starts bubbling then pour it into the flour mixture. Stir for a minute until it comes together into a sticky dough. Knead gently till you have a soft ball of dough then shape into a ball. Cover and leave for 15 mins to slightly rise. - STEP 3
- Lightly oil a sheet of tin foil and place the dough in the centre. Make a deep cross on top of the dough.
Step 4 Close up the foil not too tightly. Bake for 60 mins and enjoy! Once cooled slice and freeze.
